伊藤めぐみ　1985年生まれ。ドキュメンタリー・ディレクター、ライター。

紛争、思想、歴史をテーマに取材。

 

2002年中米ホンジュラス共和国に１年間留学。

中部大学卒業国際関係学部、東京大学総合文化研究科相関社会科学修士課程で社会思想を専攻。

2011年よりテレビ番組制作会社ホームルームに入社し、イラク戦争、ベトナム戦争、人道支援、

障害者、町工場などをテーマにドキュメンタリーを制作。2018年よりフリーランス。

 

2013年にドキュメンタリー映画『ファルージャ イラク戦争 日本人人質事件…そして』を監督。

第1回山本美香記念国際ジャーナリスト賞、第十四回石橋湛山記念早稲田ジャーナリズム大賞奨励賞を受賞。イランの映画祭、Cinema Vérité ; Iran International Documentary Film Festival、アメリカ・ロサンゼルスの映画祭 LA Eiga Fest でも上映。

NHK BS1『命の巨大倉庫』がATP賞奨励賞を受賞。

ベトナム戦争についてのルポルタージュが潮ノンフィクション賞にノミネート。

イラククルド人自治区のクルディスタン・ハウレル大学修士課程に１年間在籍。

レバノンに１年半滞在しアラビア語を学ぶ。ウクライナも取材している。

Megumi Ito is a Japanese documentary writer and director. Her main interests are conflict zones, ideology and history.

​

She was an exchange student in Honduras for one year in 2002. She studied at Tokyo university for an MA in Social Thought. She worked at a TV production company from 2011 and made documentary programs about the Iraq war, the Vietnam war, humanitarian aid work, disabled people, local factories in Japan, and so on. She has been working as a freelancer since 2018.

Megumi won an award for the first film she directed, "Fallujah" in 2014 the Mika Yamamoto International Journalist Award and the 2014 Ishibashi Tanzan Memorial Journalism Award.  The film was screened at Cinema Vérité ; Iran International Documentary Film Festival and LA Eiga Fest, Los Angeles, U.S. film festival. Her TV documentary program "Dubai, the biggest base for humanitarian AID and its crisis" (NHK, 2018) won the 2018 ATP award.

She also writes articles and her non-fiction writing on the Vietnam war was nominated for the 2016 Ushio Nonfiction Award.

She was studying International Relations at the University of Kurdistan, Hewler .

She also stayed and studied Arabic in Lebanon for one year and a half. 

She covered Ukraine in 2022.
